On July 8, 2023 at 21:46 pm (23:16 local time), a parent reached out to our Adelaide Parent Community to ask for help with her child's sudden onset of a rash that was causing nasal congestion and interfering with breathing. Having just arrived in Adelaide, the parent had no medication on hand and was very anxious.
However, everyone witnessed the solidarity and warmth of our parent community. In the next two hours, our staff responded quickly and actively checked all the information of local pharmacies, clinics and hospitals still open in Adelaide for the students' parents. Meanwhile, enthusiastic parents offered valuable suggestions and one parent selflessly provided anti-allergy medication. Eventually, at 1am late at night, the parents who sought help managed to obtain the required medication. After administering the medication, the child's symptoms also began to ease and the night passed peacefully.
The next day (Sunday), we contacted a Malaysian-Chinese GP at a clinic near Chinatown and the parents brought their child to the clinic. Through careful examination, the doctor confirmed that the child's condition was an allergic reaction, which fortunately was not serious. The doctor prescribed the appropriate medication and the child has fully recovered after taking the medication.
The Overseas Parents Community (WeChat Group) was established to promote communication and exchange among parents. Through the parent community, we promote parents to help each other, communicate with each other, share experiences and resources. Especially for students and parents living overseas, it is a challenge to adapt to the new environment and culture. The parent community is like a big family, gathering warmth and strength so that all parents can encourage each other, cooperate and work together to protect their children's development.
For us, our aim is to provide customized and quality services to parents, especially for underage students who are attending primary and secondary schools overseas. Even after the student has been admitted to the school, we will continue to provide long-term support and work with the parents to care for and accompany their child's development. This is our philosophy.
What makes us different from other study abroad organizations? This is what makes us different! Not only do we specialize in education planning and study abroad services, but we also focus on the overall development and well-being of each student. Whether it's an emergency or a day-to-day need, we are always in close contact with parents and provide thoughtful service and support to both international students and parents.
